Economic Impact Study
The purpose of this report is to estimate the library’s potential economic impact to Kennett Square Borough and the townships of Kennett, Pennsbury, Pocopson, East Marlborough, Newlin, New Garden, and West Marlborough.
The project design team was authorized to proceed with the Construction Documents stage of the design phase on November 16, 2020.
Architect/RRMM issued the Construction Documents / Permit Plans design package to Kennett Library on March 29, 2021.
Kennett Library and Owner’s Rep/CBRE Heery reviewed the Construction Documents design package to confirm all prior design review comments were satisfactorily addressed and noted a few new concerns which were transmitted to the design team on April 14, 2021.
Revisions to the Construction Documents design package were submitted to Kennett Square Borough on June 17, 2021 in response to the ICC review comments on the Construction Documents package dated March 29, 2021.
A meeting was held with Kennett Square Borough on June 30, 2021 to review the open ICC comments and Architect/RRMM’s latest drawing revisions. Architect/RRMM responded to the Borough’s requests for clarification of open permit comments made during the June 30th meeting on July 20, 2021. Architect/RRMM’s responses were accepted by Kennett Borough on August 17, 2021.
The final version of the Construction Documents / Permit Set plans and specs were issued to Construction Manager/EDiS on September 20, 2021 for sub-contractor bidding.
